Goal:
Gain hands-on experience in building and managing WordPress websites
Create and customize WordPress themes and plugins
Design responsive, SEO-friendly websites using page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery)
Update and maintain website content
Integrate third-party tools and APIs
Optimize site performance and security
Collaborate with designers and backend developers on projects
Hands-on experience with WordPress CMS
Familiarity with themes, plugins, and page builders
Understanding of HTML, CSS, basic PHP, and JavaScript
Knowledge of SEO, website optimization, and website deployment
Experience with website backups, security tools, and performance tuning
Use of Git, cPanel, and website hosting platforms
Basic knowledge of WordPress CMS
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic PHP
Students pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields
Self-taught individuals with website projects/portfolio are welcome
Personal laptop or desktop with a stable internet connection
Installed IDE or editor (e.g., VS Code, Sublime Text)
Access to a local server environment (e.g., XAMPP, MAMP)
Basic understanding of SEO, responsive design, and CMS concepts
Git and GitHub account (optional but preferred)
Willingness to learn and take feedback
Good communication, time management, and team collaboration skills
